CF Fertilisers

Held in tanks, sprayed on planes and runways then down the local stream....

Eventually ends up in the local river by the looks of things. Funny how the EA, DEFRA and Red Tractor can have one rule for farmers - for everyone else it's a free for all.

Note the 5,000,000 litres of de-icer used.

Yep it's called capitalism, and as it's impossible to have infinite growth forever, it is in it's death throws. It's not going to be pretty either. I've told you before to start connecting the dots. Why do you think a moderately severe respiratory virus (check out the reality of the ONS age standardised mortality figures that show nothing particularly alarming) went from '3 weeks to flatten the curve'' to 'show us your papers' ?

Read Claus Schwab's book it's all in there. In fact most of it can easily be found and I suggest that you study this document.

I read the first few pages but just suddenly got overwhelmingly weary with it. Lot of good stuff in there, stuff that people will applaud but then ignore. Undoubtedly sensible and well-meaning. Lots of thought gone into it but lots of obvious probelms. Oh, and eat less meat and dairy. Oh dear. Then you start to question just how switched on they really are. Also there's that familiar diagram from RethinkX again. No thanks.

Isn't all this chaos an inevitable outcome of environmental naivety, if you suddenly announce to the world that oil has no future & electric is the wonder cure it's hardly a surprise that oil companies stop drilling for new oil finds. As finding new natural gas supplies is a fortunate result of oil exploration it's hardly surprising that gas rich countries like Russia who think power is preferable to eco fads quickly manipulate the gas market to their advantage & are easily able to cripple stupidly underprepared naive countries like the UK. Time to get back into North Sea oil exploration & find more natural gas & delay all these electric wonder vehicles until we have electric security?

But every year there's a fert price " threat ". Closely followed by a seed shortage " threat ". All we need now is a Christmas sprout shortage " threat " to complete the package.
Just think of the lack of wind for all the turbines ;)

Also what concerns me is the added pressure of Govt trying to claw back money by finding further climate change levies on fuel/elecy prices too

Well no fert not allowed to spread muck,

organic is the future then I suppose🤦‍♂️

But at least it will cure the lorry driver shortage as there be a lot less grain to haul about👍

Im thinking about spring barley

get some ELMS subsidy for overwintered stubbles
lash pig poo on the stubbles in spring
Incorporate to make a seedbed and sow spring barley
Hardly any sprays needed
Won’t need any/much extra fert
Should manage 2 t/acre at least
Bit of straw

once harvest is over the son & heir can go working land for neighbours with his big swanky tractor & sumo earning £££

I go on holiday to visit family in Australia til February when I come back to start preparing for spring cultivation’s

I like that plan
