I filled one of ones Sports car yesterday... It was no trouble. A peasant in a Shell pullover came over called me sir and even pulled the trigger on the pump for me. I gave the fellow a 50 pence piece to get himself something nice..

At least it has brought the whole labour shortage issue to the top of the headlines. The government will have to do something now (lift visa restrictions). They won't want to see any more of the "Winter of Incompetence" headlines.
I don't get that there are 60 +million in the uk and we are short of labour what tosh

Wife just back from garage where they are rationing everyone to £25.
That didn't lift gauge on Discovery much over 1/4.
Chap said tanks getting low and not confident Sundays order will arrive, been mad busy all day.
Quite a lot of commercials fill at pumps now, instead of having fuel nicked out of yard, which won't help transport situation.

All it needs is the knobends to panic, encouraged by media telling them not to..
