Anglo American bought it & they'll have product from there soonSirrius Minerals, What a shame they did not get the necessary planning permission, to build their own short piece of railway line.
It's more expensive now because they're taking the pee. TBH as long as folk keep buying they'll keep putting it upApologies for ignorance but I was looking at a natural gas chart for past prices and it was much higher in the early and late 2000's, so why wasn't fertiliser dearer then?
I see natural gas is 9% higher today.
Nothing cheap in spreading muck .cheaper than using bagged
You also need to consider what the price of ammonia was at the time. Right now, it's well over $200/t and fertiliser companies in Europe are buying it in rather than trying to make their own on expensive gas. Last year ammonia was about $80/tonne, so it's not just the gas. Freight rates are higher too for vessels.Apologies for ignorance but I was looking at a natural gas chart for past prices and it was much higher in the early and late 2000's, so why wasn't fertiliser dearer then?
