Strip Tillage and Poultry Manure

Will the nutrients actually be available in the spring season it is spread? or will they be more of a problem in the following winter rainfall?
The poultry manure round here is usually spread in the Autumn and incorporated ASAP. Will it have to be incorporated when spread in the spring?

Also the spreading of the muck into growing crops, like granular fert, are many people doing this too?

We are aware of how strong it is, I just want to sit right within the rules, and I do not want disgruntled neighbors complaining about smell.

my view too.
We spread pig fym into standing crops, 24m tramlines. not to high a application rate. you would be surprised how the smell is captured by the crop.

we have done 2 applications into spring barley. gone by harvest.

Contractor with bunning hbd I think it is. Spinning disc spreader with weigh cells and plenty of ponies on the front. Think we do about 18t /ha and still go to 24m.
