hi. just wondering if anyone has experience of a 2020 fendt being a little lazy? its has plenty of power on hills and in field but it just doesnt have the getup and go of my last 720 a 2016 model. it feels almost like the turbo isnt kicking in on time or something. maybe its all in my head but i just find that i have to rev it up flat out to get it up and going.

Yes, new ones very different response when pulling out at junctions. Been 3 years now and I still miss the way the old one leapt off the line.

Just maybe ask your dealer if it’s maybe one that’s missed the update our 19 and 20 reg ones were hellish delay pulling away was dangerous on the road with a load. They kept saying it was just the way they were, then a year later they decided there was an update for it and there different tractors now the very same as the old ones were thankfully

Oh thats interesting. I will check that out. Thank u

How do you drive it without tms?
Foot throttle or hand throttle for revs, joystick to alter vario position.

Did a day corn cart on a non tms 716 for someone this harvest, after being used to tms for 15 years - felt completely weird, and a lot more work to get it to drive any sense, constantly listening to engine note. Fuel saving alone with TMS on will be noticeable for sure.

Probably emissions guff making it sluggish compared to old models. We are finding we have to remap new tractors to make them perform the same as previous model.

It's weird because when we complained to dealer and they put it on dyno they aren't finding any difference. New one was horrible to drive. No torque engine just died. Done 2.5k hours so plenty run in.

Looks like the bill from New Holland is on it way for your break down saying you remap them, why not buy a tractor with right hp from the start
