if i can do 220 may on nearly 200% unsold this will be a very good year

decent yiekds plus high prices rarely ever happens

don’t count chickens just yet though !

I'm 60 percent unsold. All clean, dry and segregated in a co-op store. On the flip side, I only had 110ac of combinables.

In February it looked like there may not have been a crop with the huge puddles.

Nothing sold here but I’m not going to wait for the last penny. Always bust will follow boom exactly when will be out of our control but it will come. Everything here commodity wise has gone up to near double last year this time. Fertilizer too. I produce wheat for the feed market and have had a good year despite the lack of rain. Thanks to 60 ft of clay beneath black clay loam. So at double the price it’s looking to be a stellar year. Had prices not risen it would have broken many farmers that have over extended in recent years. Fert prices will hurt but not as much as feed will hurt pig chicken and egg producers. Sad times if their produce doesn’t go up. General public will have to take their share of inflation and pay up.

Low earth orbit starts about 160km whilst wheat price has risen from the height of Blackpool pier to the height of Blackpool tower.....
