My corn ground is still too wet and soft to do anything on, so went and fenced 25 acres on a neighbour's ready to put some ewes on to tup.
A bit afraid of over flushing them considering what there coming off.

On another note I'd like to thank who ever posted a picture of them fencing with a tub dragging behind, saved me no end of walking.View attachment 990323
What is the tub for?

A guide for the distance between the posts. I put mine in every 10 meters, used to drive a distance chucking stakes out as I went along and then go back and pace out and attach the wire. Now I just stop and attach the wire when the tub is somewhere around the last post. It saves an awful lot of walking on a knackered knee.

That’s what I do, works a treat.

Had a nibble at the beans after frustrating day eye testing the dogs

Managed to push it to long and bunged the combine
🙄

Lost 2 male stud dogs and 2 breeding bitches. 2 cataracts and 2 to gonioscopy scores higher than we really aim for.
All 4 will be good pets and live good lives, but don’t meet the standards we need.
Passed hip n elbows, full sweep dna to fail in something that there was no history of 🤬
