i panic bought a fortnight ago on N and Ns02 at least it will average out with what was bought in june. the same as the wheat i sold at harvest will av out with what we sell in may!

Is this forecast as good as the negative base rate one?
Soya prices have dropped so the us farmers may be more inclined to chase the higher wheat prices.

just been doing the sums and reckon wheat at over 220 would just about stand still if n 34.5 was550. At t 600 for fert wheat would need to be 235/t its actually not that far away
My mate was quoted 680/t for extran yesterday, 260/t maybe a bit further away.....

Yields in states much higher across the board
than first thought .The talk of the big drought wasn't

I adapt the budget based on the current price but budgets are only budgets
if you have a target then that is more useful for despising making
I will not price wheat for nov 22 untill it is in the barn
the weather will dictate the price although if nitogen is short or expensive less will get usedatlower rates in many countries leading to lower chance of better than average yields and higher prices

I find budgeting cost is useful but budgeting output near impossible to be close

Considering we are currently exporting....at least another £25 higher? Freight is going through the roof too so cost of getting wheat into country is only going up and up.

Has anyone got a price for OSR,rang a couple of merchants and the only bid was into a local feed mill at £560 all in,didn't sell any.
