200 electric cars destined for use by Glasgow council sit unused , and quietly rotting in a lock up car park, yet Wee Nippy has 20 Tesla cars bought to ship the great and the good to and fro from their hotel at Gleneagles . With only 1 available charging point, they are hiring diesel generators from WH Malcolm to provide enough power for the temporary charging units they will need !🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
How do you know about the 200 electric cars??

Just as an aside, but to do with scientific "knowledge" and how it gets corrupted and twisted, and then takes decades to be corrected when the answer was there all along but stifled: the American Heart Association that was in league with Ancel Keys et al has apparently (after years of preaching the wrong message in spite of all the eveidence) dropped the wording to "eat low fat" from their official advice. They haven't told anyone about it though. It took Nina Teicholz to spot it to make people aware.

This is what we're up against with the climate change numpties vegan/AR/anti-farming activists. Spread the bullsh1t far and wide and it takes a Herculean effort over decades to start to correct it. Mankind is fekked.

Edited a little ... , and of course, there's academic funding for all things climate change regardless of the quality of the work that comes out of it.

Judging by the video they're 20 and 21 plates and stored under cover, so not exactly 'rotting in a carpark'. Always sceptical when reports have words like 'nearly' too - you just know that the actual figure has been exaggerated for effect.

But yes, they would have done fine for much of the delegates.

Council will have budgeted to write them down to zero over five years, then will give them away to a mate who'll flog them all for a tidy profit "but the spreadsheet says they're worth nothing, so £5 each is a good deal" council economic thinking.

By jingo, the Times is awash with “green” adverts including this beauty from Drax ... the premier importer of American woodchip pellets

And then to add a bit of wind power, this from Sainsbury’s

I'm just going to post this here. I think we can safely say the UK has precisely fudge all role to play in combatting climate change!

Well South Africa and India aren’t attending nor is China and I doubt Biden knows what day of the week it is so it’s going to be left to Boris to provide the Boosterism ...

We are truly knackered

I cannot wait for the world to re -open for business,so I can get onboard an aircraft again.I have promised myself a trip to Bundaberg ( Az) to see the latest sugar cane harvesters operational. Whilst in Bundi I will have a rum or three of their locally distilled product. Just "Lets go Brandon"
