They may have a place but I’d imagine they will be comparatively expensive as solid N as they contain urea ??Just resurrecting this thread, with the price of fertiliser going through the roof, these foliar fertiliser products will be more comparible on price.I don't know anyone around me that has used them, so has anyone used them this year and how did you get on with them?
From my experiences in certain situations they can deliver, but the results are very variable, I know of a farm this year that had a considerable yield disadvantage from using these products, I saw comparable yields from my on farm trials which was very encouraging but the grain protein on Gp3’s were 3% below standard N, this would have cost me £90/ha of premiums and the extra £15/ha to buy the foliar over AN last year…
Worth looking at, but not as reliable as standard N imho
