Yes they're quite common here in NI. I couldn't say who makes them as there are a few local guys that do. I'd guess they are half to two thirds of the price of a steel bin.

Downsides are they can't be got that big, 8 or 10 ton max, and they aren't suitable for outside. If you needed a few it's probably just as cheap to put a roof above them as get a steel bin though.

i looked into it a few years ago, my thoughts were, the material must degrade over a short time, so weight of product in it becomes a safety worry? And you have to site it undercover, went for a collinson tristar snacker in the end, more than pleased?

This is what lm looking at, 5ton, 900£, not expencive really, l suppose you can get a new bag after a few years. Can't get a bigger one as to high to go in old barn. Exactly like ones above.

Can you get a bin that is high enough to fill a Snacker direct.
I have a very old 12T bin that I can get the Snacker under and is easy to fill with a slide on the spout.
Unfortunately it is very old and getting rusty and has holes in it.
All the ones I have seen recently are too low to get it under.

I know with Collinson you can spec the length of the legs, and therefore height of the spout, if you're ordering new.
