Has anyone used those type with the bag feed bin, and who sells them, must be alot cheap that others.

Yes they're quite common here in NI. I couldn't say who makes them as there are a few local guys that do. I'd guess they are half to two thirds of the price of a steel bin.
Downsides are they can't be got that big, 8 or 10 ton max, and they aren't suitable for outside. If you needed a few it's probably just as cheap to put a roof above them as get a steel bin though.

This is what lm looking at, 5ton, 900£, not expencive really, l suppose you can get a new bag after a few years. Can't get a bigger one as to high to go in old barn. Exactly like ones above.

Would anyone actually replace the bag before it ripped & collapsed, which it would only do when full?

Have you anywhere inside you can get to with a handler, then make a small hopper, fill with handler to bag off as needed

Can you get a bin that is high enough to fill a Snacker direct.
I have a very old 12T bin that I can get the Snacker under and is easy to fill with a slide on the spout.
Unfortunately it is very old and getting rusty and has holes in it.
All the ones I have seen recently are too low to get it under.

I know with Collinson you can spec the length of the legs, and therefore height of the spout, if you're ordering new.

Alternatively if you go for a side chute bin you can mount it on a plinth.

I have a 9t Bildabin the same. The bagging tube underneath comes off then you can back a snacker under it.
I think it was Spring 2013 that I last took the tube off though.

The flexi bin guys up here want 2100£ for supply and put it up 5ton one, don't know if the dear or cheap.

That sounds like plenty of money for what they are. Have you priced up a fibreglass bin for a comparison?

No, l was thinking that myself, but prices for any thing these days are threw the roof. There are 900 just sitting in bits in the yard.
