Stepson works for a company that supplies non fighting kit to the army, last week they had to send some stuff to Poland (I think) the lorries were dutch and rather than go via France ferries or tunnelwhich is much closer to the pick up point they were going to go via the north sea so they didn't have to drive through france at any point, this is now standard practice as the french according to the Dutch drivers just stupid cints making life difficult whereas the dutch and Belgians are just getting on with lifeThey are very angry now , busting a blood vessel in fact

Indeed , I never found the french authorities particularly helpful before brexit , too much politicking .
