Tried both sorts i find wellbred ones convert better and are the last ones to drop in price when the going gets sticky

Aim for 20-20.5 av once I start feeding any higher you end up having to many over 22 and getting deductions which defeats the object of getting extra weight.

I was thinking compared to anything dairy cross that's going to be finished in a shed, but will any of those native breeds get to a 400 kilo carcass without being a 4h or 5l or pushing 30 months old?Even where native breeds & composites will finish on less of that expensive corn?

Yes agree, had E3L 23.9kg at -45p came to £125 and a U3H 22kg at -5 p came to £126. That was this wk at £5.60
