I believe the SIM card goes inside the vd03 on these units. A white box which I think will be in the roof near the reciever
Does it go into the box on the right? If so do you know where the SIM card holder is? Thanks

Remove the plug from the VD03 by pulling the red lock across, then there will be a small yellow button to press in that will release a SIM tray, be VERY careful with this as it is very easy to break the sim tray off the circuit board and end up with it all rattling around inside the unit (I may or may not have experience in this...) same goes with re-inserting the tray, ensure it is the correct way up and aligned properly, carefully push it in until it is secure and put the plug back on.
Then you can put your sim and NTRIP settings in via the terminal and connect to the server.

Thanks for the help. I got the sim card in ok, but having trouble setting up my sim on my fendt screen. Is there a tip when setting this up? I have a username and password for my sim card, what other details do I need? Thanks again.

You will need the APN details for the sim provider (three), you can usually find these by just googling, once you have it working you will see it searching and get a signal and most importantly an internet signal (it will come up with E/2G/3G/4G).
Then once you have a signal you would need a username and login for the NTRIP server, as well as the IP address and the mountpoint which will tell it where to connect to.

Hi, just a question into picking up RTK signal for a fendt 724. I have internet connection and it’s connected to a NTRIP but I can’t seem to get signal. I purchased my subscription off a Trimble reseller. Is it something to do with the subscription?

The first time you connect it can take a minute or two to connect for the first time, as it's saying that it looks like it's connecting to the server and working properly there.

@Rob101 it could be a sim issue, this is mine today looks a similar system to you

the distance to base figure shouldn’t be that high. 1st thing I’d do is pull the fuse and let it reboot properly

Distance to base I wouldn’t worry about as the nearest base might be that far away. Mine often says 50000 meters but then I use it up to 200 km from where I have the base at home.

once it sees the base properly though that number will change to actual distance if its closer than 50 km but will stay at 50 if further away.

I wouldn't say it is a SIM issue, I would say it is likely more to do with the login at the server end if it's getting to the stage of saying "receiving data", that and the tick means its connecting to the server and the login is being accepted so there is a data stream there, but if it's not getting any further than that it's likely the login isn't allowing data to be sent back?

Would it have anything to with the subscription purchased? Would Trimble need to know it’s an agco tractor or is that irrelevant?
