I do however understand that lots of data makes ebvs more accurate, particularly as large amounts of progeny data comes in.
Me too, tried them and won't be in a rush to have them again!

But they are a bit of an anomaly, in that how do you create an accurate EBV for animals that seem to be getting smaller as they get older?
How will getting more of that data will make anything more clear or accurate?

I've worked on BLUP Systems in the past and I don't see how it will be anything other than confused by that kind of data.
