With 40,000 new cases a day, surely the bulk of the fudging population have had it by now?

As a agronomist, did you feel that you gave "better advice" based on what you saw with your own eyes, or on what people told you was happening?

I'm not saying it (covid) isn't a real problem, but the social science experiment that's running on the back of it saves me shaving hundreds of chimpanzees, if nothing else

you could insert animal agriculture or transport of a whole host of other things into this manipulation model but the key thing is they all "create irresolvable conflicts"

& so it starts, no country trusts Bozo’s ability to control the spread of the new variant, Switzerland tonight announced that travellers from the UK have to self isolate for 10 days after arriving & have been vaccinated twice, unvaccinated cannot even travel there, how long before other countries do the same?

Same story here, it's increasingly apparent that none of it is really about viruses and experimenting with drugs

NZ govt has rushed through several new bills and the frightening thing is, nobody seems to worry, or even be aware
(The same piece of legislation that could force us to get a needle or two, could equally be used to force euthanasia, sterilisation, organ harvesting... )

it feels like people are either asleep to what's going on, or too scared of "the group think" to speak out. I think that the day your gov't owns the right to decide what goes in your body is a sad day indeed, and (personally) restricting international travel is a minor freedom to lose by comparison to losing a generation - even if they are asleep

Bu——er that, vaccinated three times & only just recently bought family tickets to Switzerland, not best pleased.😆

Was told last year that I needed a flu injection every year if I wanted to be “safe” as the thing mutates every year … sounds familiar ? I’m in my 40’s and that’s the first flu injection I have ever had

I was wondering that im in morrisons with mask on then fancy a pint in the pub across the road take my mask off does the virus not come into pubs
Tens of thousands at sporting events of a weekend, kids school Xmas parties and nativity plays cancelled as it’s too high risk, parents not allowed onto school grounds to collect kids, instead all milling at the gates. Moronic.

it makes me really sad how disproportionately their little social lives are affected by this. It’s just weak government, hit the easy targets hard to look like they’re doing something.

Early days yet but from what I saw the focus in SA that first saw the new symptoms said none of them needed hospital treatment. If that's true then restrictions should be short lived.
There's not nearly enough data to support that given that Omicron was only first detected around 9th of November, which is barely enough time for hospitalisations and deaths to begin to show up. It is also important to note that the demographics of the most affected areas are significantly different to our own with a much lower average age range and less prevalence of the critical comorbitities.

Something that interests me. The thousands of illegal immigrants they pick up I'm the channel each week. Do they get tested for covid and isolated before being allowed into the country? Do they carry vaccine passports or any passports?

Can we afford another lockdown? I don't think so. The cracks are beginning to appear already.
The illegal immigrants should be house in secure army camps, fed simple food, and be made to work for their keep. If they knew that they were expecting a regime like this a lot wouldn't come.
