Currently have a teagle telehawk. Thinking of swapping to a trailed blower as now have a small yard tractor. Which would people say is the best value. Have asked rep about trailed teagle. Thinking of maybe trying to get demo of lucas raptor, kuhn primordial and mchale 460.

Have used various models of the Teagles, McHale460, and an old Lucas!

If its just for straw, honestly they are all good and fairly reliable machines!

The teagles are easier to repair yourself if things go wrong, tho the metal seems to be getting thinner every model on all of them if honest

You won’t be disappointed with any of the above makes. I would go by my favourite dealer above anything else

Buy one that is made in Britain.
No, buy one that is properly made and has good parts back up.

These machines all want a good going over in the summer when they are not in use.
Agree with Ollie.
there's not many brands I've not sold in used condition.
Some of the Italian/Spanish/french made machines will knock the socks off anything British.
For build quality alone I would have a supertino. Really nice made machines

Kuhn Primor here. Its a fabulous machine. Cannot fault it. Will feed out silage as well if you require it to.

As an aside, I find I don't really save any straw with a straw blower - as its so easy to bed cattle up I find I put more straw in to keep all cattle really clean.

I bought the Kuhn as the dealer is literally 5 mins down the road from me but in the 4 years I've had it I've never needed any back up from them.
