I've been hoping a grant might appear at some point...increased productivity/ H&S etc. Looked at the recent grant scheme that was announced last week but nothing like this in it. I don't want a mizuri or a sheep handling system.We only bag about 450t so difficult to justify but when you're doing them all by yourself you a robot becomes more attractive.

Bought mine second hand from Harrison, mid 30’s not done massive amounts. They stood by one or two issues and I am glad I saved the money vs new. I think a new one was 55 back then. Worth every penny though, makes job a lot easier

Anyone have an NPK fert price for spuds? Looks about double that of last season?

Not sure? i know that if we want the same fert as previous years its 2k/ha, we have it all applied in the spring by omex. maybe i have got something wrong will have to have another look over it

Paid £635 for Yara maincrop due to be delivered this month.
Painful, but worried about getting any after Christmas.
We usually apply about 7cwt/acre plus a good dressing of organic manure.

Its gonna be a difficult conversation.
Surprising, if you went in our local chippy in south shropshire, Friday or a Saturday they will have 6 girls serving or taking orders ,5 delivery drivers plus the ones cooking,that's without the 3 Indians and 1 Chinese in a town of just over 3000
