It's December 1st. How many more of you are 'goody two shoes' like me?

Still can't understand why our Government wants to know where every sheep is in the Country, yet hasn't a clue how many illegal immigrants are sneaking in every day !!

Strange world !
Simple, the private sector is a revenue source, the state have no incentive to fine themselves for their own incompetence.

Out of interest, what would the competent do to end illegal migration that doesn't involve drowning migrants at sea?
Let them in legally I say. Give them jobs and bank accounts so they can’t send the money home, use them to get this country up and running again. Stop them being illegal and fueling illegal gangs.

But if they are coming anyway illegally they will be forced into slavery.
So stop then coming illegally.

And there's a difference between labour exploitation of illegal migrants (which is disgusting and must be prevented), and violent crime (gun bomb and grenade attacks) affect legal citizens.

I know we are completely off topic now.. ! its a difficult one, hence no British Government has ever got to grips with it. Of the 8bn people in the world I would think there may be 1bn who would jump at the chance if given the opportunity to move to the UK. Uncontrolled migration is deeply destabilising, both for the country receiving migrants and the country loosing some of its most driven citizens. There are no easy solutions and as the global gap between the have and have not nations continues to grow then managing migration is going to become an ever increasing challenge.

I tried to do my Census online, but after 3 failed attempts, I emailed back and asked for a paper copy...
Paer is best way. We have done ours online for years. We got an inspection this year because the online submission was not shown and the inspector advised that we do it online and still send in the paper form in to avoid this in future.
He said it had happened to a few farmers and was due to their system error.
Decent bloke though so all was well.

I suppose the answer is to give every illigal immigrant a free sheep........on condition they fill out the sheep inventory every December.

At least that way the Government will know where these people are !!

You haven't thought this through.

They would kill them, share the meat with their mates, and the demand and price for fat ewes would plummet.

But on second thoughts, the Government would have to buy sheep from us to supply each new batch.............

You’re forgetting all those Tory ‘trade deals’, that allow unhindered access to the UK for all sorts of ‘mystery meat’ of unknown provenance, from places where they don’t have to worry about welfare or counting sheep.
