Bull suckling cows

I have a 2year old Limi bull that started suckling cows over the summer. He's bigger than them and stands there with his tail wagging like a little calf.🤭

I tried 2 different nose spike things from our local ag stores but he's a big boy and they're to small. Any ideas on what might stop him or where to get a jumbo size nose spike?

Used to have a Charolais do it in our dairy herd, he was great for getting them into calf,
He bulled them then sucked them dry, the cow was content without a full udder and lay down beside him, he settled most first time round

Probably doesn't really help.but we had 2 older cows always suckling others at the feed barrier and Ritchey plastic nose spikes worked instantly.for both of them. Took them out at calving the first time as it seemed cruel to the calf, but had to put them back in the same cows as soon as they came in for.the winter. Just left them in this year and it didn't seem to make a.bit of.difference when they were cleaning the calf.

Me too. Only effective solution in my opinion.

Has he a bull ring in? Might be enough to stop him maybe?

He is a pervert. We PD some cows yesterday and he'd got 3 calves in calf which aren't a year old yet
Quite a good bull by the sounds of him? The only thing I can think of, is if one spikey nosering doesn't fix him, try putting 2 in him for a bit, maybe ziptie two together?
It might not need to stay as 2 but it could help wean him off the idea, bit more bulk in the way of his prize

obviously culling a good bull for just one reason is going to be a difficult decision for you

I'm guessing the cows nose spikes don't fit on his nose. They can be bloody tight to get on some cows.

We always found a bull ring was a good permanent solution, one cow was called Punky for over 10 years.
Yes the nose spike seems to tight to get on. Sounds like worth trying a nose ring because he hasn't one at the moment. Never fitted one myself, is it a vet job?
