If we operated in a free market we could. While the AIC members collude illegally to prevent us accessing our own markets while unassured imports are allowed to enter freely we have no choice but to cough up our protection money. And there was me thinking we lived in a free country in 2022 but obviously not.......:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I have heard from a reliable person that a central store/ coop is allegedly hauling German wheat into their premises. Based in east Anglia. Is this happening around the country at other sitesI wonder. If I was a member I would ring up and enquire if mine was doing the same. Makes a mockery if they are blending before it being delivered to the end user

I'm forced to as I have some central storage, dead tractor membership is one of their conditions

The members need to get together and tell the store that next season none of their crops will be RT.
I'm sure the store will then change their tune, rather than be empty.

I wouldn't worry. There are plenty of ways to put non FA grain into these stores and turn it into what ever the buyer wants. Two can play at that game.

If the supermarkets couldn't tell the difference between horse sold as beef, they definately won't tell the difference between RT grain and non RT grain.

At this point one of 3 things may be happening at red tractor HQ

1- the rt police are blue lighting to the scene to investigate

2- Jim Mosley is preparing a press release supporting non assured imports.

3- nothing cos they think no one will dare disobey the mighty tractor😂😂😂

I'm totally frustrated and despondent with red tractor, it's seriously affected my mental health and I've now cancelled my direct debit to them, so no more automatic renewal!
Perhaps from Monday morning all farmers who are outloading grain refuse to send a passport and sticker with the load? If everyone did this the mills would have to accept the grain unassured and the RT cartel would fall. Anyone else want to join me?

Just to put another point about RT. I was dead against it and have already told them I'm going but.....Last year I got a contract to supply heritage wheat to a bakery, they want a lot and I cannot mill that quantity so they are contracting the milling out to one of the larger independent mills.
I got a form from the bakery asking details about the product which was 7 pages or more of questions asked by a supermarket audit. There is no possibility of me being able to supply all the details but (again) I am supplying the mill and my RT harvest only certification is fine for that the mill does the audit.
So this year I am staying as for the first time ever I am getting real value.
I would urge anyone who is supplying like this to just make sure they are not exposed if they opt out.
