ROI government changed VAT on hotel accommodation from 13% to 9% after the 2008 financial crisis.
Changed it back up 8 years later, when the industry was sufficiently recovered.
Changed down again when Covid hit the industry.

We are still waiting for the nasty EU, to land amphibious forces at Valentina strand…..

Poland are in the EU. Bojo and his mates said the UK could not reduce the Vat on domestic energy while a member of the EU.
"Vote leave to get rid of Vat on household energy. " Was the slogan
This was a lie. ( Along with many others) Poland has just proved it.
Quite a number of mistruths spouted by the leave side are now coming out. Hey ho, to late now.

Shortage of common sense amongst others and spelling...... I find a lot who think they are quite bright and amongst the brightest can't spell.

Britanny Butter in Morrisons plentiful...... Good Welsh backup in Aldi.

Welsh Lamb steaks to go with Welsh Free range poached eggs for lunch tomorrow.

You can’t have much to be going on with, when you are thinking about tomorrows lunch. Maybe you should get a little job for yourself….

You Dum Dum..... I run a Business... Mon - Fri I finish at 3 on a Friday

f**k all happens on a weekend - my choice... My time / Family Time,...

You'll still be here with an effort of whit and self-importance whilst changing f**k all.

You show all the signs of being like that other knob from your way who rode a motorbike and kept a cat... in fact, maybe you are him? He was bitter because of the priest.

Get back to trying to Troll

Remember its Three not Tree

I blame my poor spelling on the great British educational experiment that was « ITA »🤬.
No fault of Johnson though, he was just a year old at the time 😂

Well the press are just starting to pick up the story.
No queues on the weekend as all customs agents are shut and lorries restricted in EU. Funny how the 17 k. tailback couldn't be seen by a camera on a pole but was photographed from the ISS!
And itv

The European Union says that individual member states will decide how biometric checks are implemented.

Any queues at Rotterdam or Ostend , probably not

Some good news

Meanwhile, the head of Dublin Port said the route through Dover that once offered Irish traders the fastest means of getting between the Republic of Ireland and the European continent will not “re-emerge” as a preferred option for moving goods.

It’s quite strange, you seem to write as though you are under the impression that France had a vote to kick you out🤔. May I just remind you, it was the uk that had a vote to inflict this upon themselves. Absolutely ridiculous to look to blame others for whatever consequences follow.
