It would seem that Johnson's plan is to delay releasing Sue Gray's findings until late tomorrow to give all the weekend for things to calm down a bit or is that just me being cynical?
I think you're right but not sure that's smart with the Sunday political programmes and the likes of The Sunday Times Insight team available; the latter tend to be a paper many keep with all the detail to read all the next week

Not looking good on Bozza in the ADECCO global report on how governments have handled Covid.

"The UK arrives last in the ranking, as the country has not been able to prevent the spread of the virus and the economy has been widely impacted by the pandemic – in spite of massive investments from the government. Yet almost all the measures implemented have been phased out, which could have exacerbated labour market disruptions or slowed down job recovery."

That's right, it's a great thing having a PM who thinks the law doesn't apply to him, lies to The Queen etc etc.
When I was on the county council we had a character stand as an independent and he was elected . He had the biggest majority on the whole council .
He was 'anti establishment ' but was very popular with a lot of voters . ...I'm not saying it's right but an awful lot of people say " good old Boris ....he is showing them !"
Same was said about the Cllr ..... people came out to vote for him who had never voted before !
