boris is right...we and rest of EU shouldn't buy anything off russia.....we should endure power cuts if necessary IMO

how crass is it that weapons are sent to ukranians to kill conscripted russians while oil/gas is being bought from oligarchs...lining their pockets

Nearly every country in the world is still buying/ trying to do trade deals with Russia with the exception of the UK.

I am not saying that is right or wrong but how it is!

German energy minister was on TV a few days ago saying if they did not buy Russian gas they would have to enforce daily power cuts as they have turned off much of their other energy plants/sources of power the last few years and are now reliant on Russian fuel.

Old man Biden said he could supply all of Europe with the gas they need if they stopped buying Russian gas.. Well where is this gas and how/when will he start delivering it??

I agree on your 2nd point but country's will rightly or wrongly put themselves first, if the likes of power cuts in places like Germany were bought in as they stopped buying gas etc from Russia it would not be many days before the German people would turn against Ukraine and demand that the Gov start buying Russian gas again and that would be the same across the EU and the UK.

Ukraine would rather everyone stops trading with Russia. Can we blame them?
