A trailed bedder behind tractor. Its a bel air Brick. It's been a great machine. Had it since 2009 and would put around 1k hesstons a year through it.

Just looking at alternatives.

Personally I think with a bedder the secret to saving straw is little and often. The spreadable is quite aggressive and doesn't look as easy to just give them a light bed.

Can you try it in barley? The thing I hated about it the most with big hesstons was when you got half way through the piece left in the machine would fall over and could be quite awkward to get through the rotors when it’s on its side. 10 years since I worked one, first machine was grand in mini hesstons but changed to accommodate the large hesstons and never liked it the same.

New fertiliser spinner arrived just in time for flowering. It was like getting married again with the petals falling. Lovely to fill with big bags.

I also submit a picture a picture of my new tractor, I got it last year, but some how never posted it here. I don’t often buy tractors and have regretted its omission.

Ok for carting with 16 ton trailer, but you’d expect that with that hp.
It’s real disappointment came on draft work. Too light to put traction down - compounded by incorrect tyres for draft work.
7726 only 7.5 tonnes according to tractor data is that right seems very light?

must have packed a fair punch if it was 240 bhp :scratchhead:
