It is, you can't see what else you're potentially disturbing that is quietly getting on with the job.
You should be sorted and tidied up for the day half an hour before dark if you can. Don't look back as you leave the field, go and get a good night's sleep and be setting off for the lambing field at first light the next morning.
Our singles lamb like that away from home. Go round them 3 times a day, last checks an hour before dark too allow “sort out cock ups” time and just leave them be

Not really the thing to be saying on a public forum.
I'd rather fore go the £500 and avoid the stress to me and my sheep.
I’d rather of not have the £500 also but it’s happened f**k all I could do about it so I was more than happy to exploit the situation… would do the public some good too walk a mile in our shoes for a change so frankly I couldn’t care less what’s said on a public forum it’s the reality of the job

Folk say it’s no good too lambs, but we’ve used cow colostrum for years. Always like too pinch a few pints off the February calving cows so I’ve got some in the freezer. Always comes in handy for balls ups!

I add some of the proper powdered colostrum to the cow colostrum... By heck it's some rich stuff it'll get that first black sh*t out of um that acts like a bung then their way to go 👌👌👌 😜😜😜
