I was reading the other day the EU are now scrapping the 10% of land they wanted farmers to take out of production for environmental works to fully support food production.

I'm affraid it really is looking like a total disaster for us farmers leaving the protection of the EU & putting our lot in charge of us.......
Yes I know bla bla we gotta get on with it but Surely all the farmers must be seriously regretting that decision now back in 2016......
You really think we would be ploughing up environment options If we were still in the EU just because Germany is??
EU didn't work like that.

Never in early me, I just thought it would be fair if everybody benefited from the now expected 21ppk rise that we're all looking forward to on Thursday!!

EU didn't work like that.

No, you're right - we wouldn't be. UK govt were free to do as they pleased within the club, they'd still be pushing the greening shyte if we were in today... but they'd be telling us it was all the EU's fault and we couldn't alter the 'rules'
