Heavy Lambs (52kg+) £120-£130 (STRONG DEMAND FOR THESE WEIGHTS TOMORROW - PLEASE FORWARD ENTRIES TO ONE OF THE AUCTIONEERS)
🐑One of our new buyers requires heavier Hoggets again please over 48kilos. Heavy lambs have been a suberb trade in brecon week in, week out.
🐑40-43 kilos tegs wanted for additional buyers.

🔥 Cull Ewes remain a serious trade averaging £100 per head. Stronger types especially wanted. Leaner sorts also wanted so worth moving rather than mending at this trade.

I cant understand the cull ewe buyers giving record prices for ewes around the country and ignoring the 60+kg hoggs which are far cheaper. I know what i would rather eat and would there be that much difference in taste/texture once its curried up?
Perhaps being full of mastitis and its overload of antibiotics thru its life ads to the flavour 😋😋😋

Huge difference between lamb and old ewe in a curry ,the meat is marinated and the lamb just dissolves whereas it just tenderises the ewe meat.
