Off Topic.
Out of interest what is “ Solidworks”, presumably a computer program but for what do you guys use it for in your particular circumstances.
Thanks , just curious.
Just Googled “Solidworks” :scratchhead:;)
Looks like one could have your own forum on it !!!

if you use solidworks premium, you can put stress on parts and changes colour at the week points
blue is fixed, and aplying forch( pulling to the left )

Our daughter works for a company that do Solidworks sales and licensing, among other stuff.
Apparently it is reassuringly expensive, and everything is add-ons and licenses.
One initial order they have just done was seven figures. Another automotive related one is five figures monthly ongoing.
But I'm sure she said you can buy a poverty spec viewing only license for about ÂŁ1k.

Money is better in stuff than still in money form in this era for sure .
partly the reason behind the property market surge. Buyers are hoping inflation will get them out of sh1t they are in. We sold two of our rental house at a massive profit compared to what we gave for them and bought a holiday cabin on an island for us to enjoy rather than stress over what tenants are wrecking. Farm has done very well this year with higher grain prices so tax will be an issue so paying off the last lease on grain bins will chew into that. Going forward I’m not sure if it’s wise to save cash or buy property

I think a bit of cash will be handy by the end of this year / into next year. When the fed starts to reduce its balance sheet bond yields and hence fixed mortgage rates will sore. It could be rocky for a little while. The counter is that people are generally a lot better off with better quality mortgages than in 08.

Same here regarding property. Price has surged and i'd easily get 30-40% more for my house than i paid for it 4 years ago. Would be a smart choice to sell it now, wrap the tax free profit into my back pocket and go back to living on the farm. Maybes buy back when the price goes down. :ROFLMAO:
