Buying group recommendations?

Not having very good service from the outfit who we currently use, despite lots of promises they tend to deliver late or not at all and it's not worth the levy.

Any recommendations? Covering the SW. Thanks

FramFarmers here are fantastic. Its like an extention of my office. Tell them what i need whether its building materials or agchem and they come back with the best price, order and organise delivery.
Being member owned they are working for me so dont feel like I am constantly having to watch the price or argue to make sure the best deal is being had. Not perfect but pretty good!

Fram cost me alot of money this year by messing up my fertiliser order , not happy!
They haven’t covered themselves in glory over fertiliser purchasing this year at all. I was under the impression my early order would be honoured despite wanting late delivery. Someone didn’t know what they were talking about when they kept reassuring me, all was ok.

It's always been interesting to see if local companies you've been dealing with for ages suddenly drop their prices when you ask for it to be put on the buying group tab.

Buying groups work both ways, and if a supplier offers to undercut the group rate, you really need to let the buying group know.
