New toy day

Is it from smallridges looks good.

No, it was from I J Jones Engineering which used be Dayment and Skelton.

Hopefully it's as reliable as the Kuhn it's replacing. When I had a quote for a Kuhn rake last winter it came in cheaper than the Pottinger but the delivery time was summer 2023.

There are surprisingly few rakes on the market with a 2.5m transport width. The vast majority are 3m which would be hopeless here.

Is Stan a pottinger dealer?

Our daughter works for a company that do Solidworks sales and licensing, among other stuff.
Apparently it is reassuringly expensive, and everything is add-ons and licenses.
One initial order they have just done was seven figures. Another automotive related one is five figures monthly ongoing.
But I'm sure she said you can buy a poverty spec viewing only license for about £1k.

Software like this will save companies a lot of money as it will identify or eliminate problems long before any metal is cut.
