You tube gang altogether at claas

Why do people laugh at him?

Because he gives farming a bad name. Anybody watching him now thinks farmers can change equipment whenever they like irrelevant of cost. He’s got literally no idea about finances. He’s very bad for the industry.

However he’s realised that chucking out a video every couple of weeks means his channel is falling behind so it was a race to get the claas video out but ollyblogs won that easily.

Olly the Wolly was also at the JCB launch the next day, but yet again OllyBlogs beat him getting that video out.

Olly's Farm, a bit clueless and not in the real world. Sometimes puts titles on videos to make out he's changing his tractor or handler, but never does. None the less hes probably doing ok from the YouTube revenue.

Olly Blogs, I find very interesting, knows what he's talking about and like his off the cuff style. His crops look, let's say, variable...! I'm not sure many farmers would want to show their crops to the world if they looked liked some of his fields, but at least he's transparent and shows it how it is! Apparently the YouTube revenue covers the finance payments on his Bateman sprayer? Fair play!

I know the individual at Claas who came up with the idea to get YouTubers to visit, a very clever move in my opinion!

I don't get the hate for the young fella, his channels not my cup of tea but he's aiming for a non farming crowd. Tom Pemberton is going down that road a bit too with his click bait titles. Some of the things he shows aren't good for the industry but he gets away with it. As for changing gear, have you seen all the stuff Olly blogs has?

The knock on olly's farm is he's a spoilt farmers son with no idea about business. There's plenty like him, perhaps it isn't as inaccurate as you think? They all seem to have a lot of time to wander round pointing cameras at each other.

I want everyone to support Ollyblogs until his youtube success means he can buy one of these:

That’s what I’m saying, aiming for none farming crowd who then believe him, when in reality the truth is very different. He’s giving the industry a bad name.

OllyBlogs is totally different. He’s always said that a manufacturer can swap his equipment as long as the payments stay the same which are fully budgeted to his business.

Also olly the wolly can’t take constructive criticism as he deletes comments on his videos where as OllyBlogs happily discusses things and then will agree to disagree. They are totally different with one being great for our industry and one not.

I really think you are overthinking this. Olly’s farm isn’t aimed at you as said. It’s also not aimed at mondeo (now Kia, man) it’s aimed at young lads and girls . He does a good job at that. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it! Like wise all non farmers that read this forum don’t think all farmers are like you or all machinery people like me.

Yeah it's pretty obvious who Ollys (Olly's Farm) target viewers are - one watch of his JCB review and you'll soon work it out - in the new Fastrac and he sounds like a bloody 12 year old, more intrested in the entertainment system, connection to his phone, a f**king phone holder and the fridge under the seat than any of the new important features they've added.
The boy is a genuine work shy twit. But he has his audience who think he's great, so more power to him.
