So, the first week of May is now behind us, the weather has been half glorious, the lads have been quite jolly this week, must be the weather.

Boss Man Chris is back off his holibobs and all hands were back to the HS2 works near Kenilworth. This job has gone better than anticipated. The client has been very happy with the works carried out to date so the last few hundred metres of land drain were easy enough; everyone back in the yard for lunch on Wednesday.

Once done, Boss Man Chris moved the 15:15 straight to the next site in the Vale of Evesham with King Kev and Cool Hand Luke on washing duty for the afternoon. Things always look good when you pull up to a new job looking all sparkly clean. It also helps to be able to see out the cab windows so I have been led to believe!

Paul took a diversion to carry out some put down some growth regulator with his new to him Househam 3000. Apparently very comfy to drive and he is beaming about his Barley, which, by the looks of it is doing very well indeed.

Boss Man Chris was a little disappointed earlier this week when his 6 bags of fertiliser turned up. He was even more shocked that Royal Mail actually delivered on time!! Just need a trailer now as I told him, it would look better on the back of a trailer and not left dangling from a New Holland 742 long reach fork truck. Health & Safety nightmare I tell you!!

Dilly Bob has been in a funny one this week, mainly back to his old grumpy self, even after Boss Man Chris and Paul gave him lessons on the amount of calories per biscuit he consumed for Lunch on Wednesday. It did not seem to put him off though as after he politely offered them 1 each he managed to consume another 12 by himself. . . total calorie intake in 3 minutes of 24,698! And he wonders why we worry about the amount of cuddle factor he carries around at work!

Been a fantastic week lads, thank you for all the graft and laughs along the way. Have a dam fine weekend, stay safe, stay smile and we will see you all on MondayDJI_0001.JPGDJI_0004.JPGDJI_0006.JPG9.jpg10.jpg11.jpg1.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpgFert 1.jpgFert2.jpg
