AgreeAs a tax payer, I don't want money being paid to land owners full stop and I especially don't want public money being given to the RSPB, National trust or similar.
Sf1 has been quietly shreddedin fairness to @Janet Hughes Defra , she did contribute considerably to some threads in the New Year and leading into April.
However, it does seem strange that things have gone so quiet from DEFRA regarding the SFI .
You are right, we do need updates, above all just to confirm that the SFI/ELMS is still a cornerstone of DEFRA policy.
Secondly, we would like confirmation that our voices have been listened to please. (both on here and in the co-design projects,)
I think so , quick u turn , stick with bps until they think of something betterSf1 has been quietly shredded

MeThen you need to do what you have consistently refused to do: Say what you do want it spent on.
If there is free money then I want it spent on the things I do obviously. Then you need to do what you have consistently refused to do: Say what you do want it spent on.

It really doesn’t bother me, it’s a pittance in the grand scheme. I just don’t want want to spend my taxpayer money on ‘permanent pasture’. I wonder if my garden qualifies?Well, obviously. You're up against it though. Janet wants 70% participation.

PP is a cropHow does PP provide any public good? If its poor land it wont be cropped and could be put into a scheme, if its good land it can be better used producing a product than doing nothing.

You're only bothered to get the pilot moneyIt bothered you when you thought it was coming your way, all your bullish posts last year when you thought it was heading the way of DD.

It really didn’t. If they want to sling cash my way for DD then great, il have it. If not then I really don’t care. The whole reason we do what we do is to be completely subsidy free. If money comes our way for it it a a great extra, for example…..It bothered you when you thought it was coming your way, all your bullish posts last year when you thought it was heading the way of DD.
