Equipment question:

I’ve got a lister solid drive that rattles horribly, led to believe that worn spindles in the elbow joint can cause this, looking at them they were definitely needing replaced as there wasn’t much left of the oil grooves.

Bought a pair from Horner, but the ones they’ve sent are for the hooked guts, where as mine screw into the guts. I tried to explain this on the phone but the lady I spoke to didn’t seem to think there was an option…..is there? Is my dropper ancient? (Bought it second hand) Do I need to change to hooked guts?

Got an old Lister 2 speed with a knackered flexi on. I learnt to shear on a solid drive and am wondering whether you can put a solid drive on the 2 speed ?
