Bought a load Nitram at £630. Its less than I expected but still more than I wanted to pay. Had considered year off but think if wheat holds 260/tonne its do-able. Not convinced with spring cropping yet but I was a little worried about availability. Don't like gambling at all but at least the decision is made

its very busy out there, wanted some urea but couldn't get any of this £740 stuff so bought blue bag 34.5 for £630/ton, a lot of merchants are sold out already and waiting for news from Yara

I ordered some urea rightly or wrongly. Can justify either argument but peace of mind in todays volatile world is maybe worth having? Alas, only 1/4 of what I predict I’ll need so far

Is it a game? They are cheaper than other European producers and they are only running one plant, so tonnage is going to be down.
