Many a time I've just parked up where I wanted to and put the bonnet up !
Did a few weeks ago needed a haircut so just pulled up outside the barbers and up with the bonnet ,on with the hazard lights and in for a hair cut !

Yeah but you can only get away with that with your Fiat pick up ,try it
with a Toyota and the traffic warden wouldn't believe you. ;)

You could be right, not always the most popular time for in calf heifers.
Theyre quality cattle anyways, time will tell!
That price was more what I thought was appropriate to me rather than their actual value on the market
Everyone has their own value
Those Emslie heifers were cheap in December but these will be dearer they are smarter types and been wintered too

Cant always be sure till see them in the flesh though.

Everyone around here has been on about getting shot of cows I think the bull sale proved that’s not a general thing. What’s the thoughts on your side? Better stuff will still sell.
Do you think people are trying to breed better things instead of muddling along? Never been as important to breed something worth keeping

Yes I think so. You are probably right. I’ve fed good and bad cattle and I know which ones cost more to feed.
When feed is dear it might as well be going into dear cattle not cheap ones.
They don’t discount it for feeding poorer types

Maybe just the keenest folk are left now , that want to farm good stuff.
There are none giving over down this way that i know of anyways, another year or 2 of high costs might change things for us all though.
Yes, that bull trade showed that there is still some confidence in the job didnt it .

I had a mate years ago liked mazda pickups and football , everytime he went to waych newcastle they stole his engine 😂
First time I went to Anfield in the 80's I had a Ford Anglia . I was too tight to pay to park so I parked in a street. 2 lads came up to us and said "£2 and we will keep an eye on your car ". My second word was Off !!
After the match we came back to see the car up on bricks and the back wheels missing !! Same 2 lads turned up shortly after .."£5 and you can have your wheels back mister !!

5 quid back then would have filled the car up with fuel 😮😮

Always parked in the proper park after !
