You aren’t allowed too say things like that…If the abattoirs are wanting to cut costs it will be the price they pay for our product that will decrease not there profits! Any one who thinks that the price we receive for our lamb is gonna go up just because our costs have gone up is sadly deluded!! I hope I’m wrong but I fear I’m not,

When see how the cost of every damnd thing has rocketed as a primary producer it worrys me as is it all get passed down the chain …… and boom

Pigs are a classic example , you cant make money out of pigs anymore but the largest slaughter house kills so many a day …. The head bummer is on 250k a year ! But the producers are going bust ! It fikimg stinks

They get well rewarded financially ! They are shafting the whole country left right and Center .
Little things like that repeated over the country help, but yes we need a voice hence why BFU , but trouble with that is we are all running around like headless chickens with too much to do and to little time , to run the union, including me.
