Tractor flotation Tyres

Hi,
I’ve just stumbled across this old blog where you refered to an old boss using 71-47x25 terras.
I’m using the same ones on our fert spreader tractor at the min but one has a bad leak!
They are the old Russian type and we’ve been persevering with them for a while now. Running them with tyre sealant inside worked well for a while but one has had it.
Any chance you know if you’re old boss still has them? And would he be willing to sell.

Cheers
Sorry, they are long gone.

god knows. run them up with 3/4 air gun . but ive got those wheel nut indicators like lorrys have and just walk round once a day
I used to do exactly like you with the 3/4 air gun but was sowing steep field of wheat in autum and was out having a check round machine and noticed I had lost 4 wheel nuts off one rear wheel with another two hand tight  .

I had a wheel come loose so after I'd replaced the damaged studs I put the wagon type nut keepers on. A set off eBay was only a tenner or so. One nut holds the next one on. Job done.

800/65r32 or 1050/50r32 would be easier to find.
900/55r32 were a Goodyear only size and are obsolete.
900/60r32 is in the table above as an equivalent to 20.8r38 and 20.8r42, it's a mistake, they're the height of the 42.
I've a pair of 800/65r32 on the combine and they look like a nice width for me and they do seem easier come across.

Have used 800/65 x32’s as a replacement for 650/65x38 and run with 540/65x28 and you could see the front wheel imprint under that of the 800 rears. Now run 600/60 x28 fronts and they are a far better match.
That said the 800’s are surplus of anyone is looking.
