Thanks
RH rear spat - took plate off underneath just in front of right hand rear wheel, 5 - 8mm bolts.

Another problem on the screen in front of steering wheel on one of the pages where you can reset items
kilometers, meters, fuel use, etc. The resettable kilometers line is stuck on 9999.9 the tractor hasn't done this many yet it won't reset this line only- any ideas?

JCB's answer to most thing's electrical is disconnect the battery for a while to let it all reset

Well this thing has absolutely amazed me today

It's struggling to lift the 4m kuhn with 500kgs of seed in it's never not lifted anything and I would've said that it had a better lift than the JD's until today

We've had this on our 7930 and a 6250r both play with it with 1000kgs on board

There are small symbols on the screen that show whether it's in float or not.
Ours would not lift the rear linkage very well if it was in cruise, the dealer was able to change this.....it lifts too fast so l put a needle valve in so I can adjust the raise speed , the valve has a check valve in it so it's full flow lowering which of course can be adjusted by knob in armrest.

I managed to get it into float a couple of times but didn't know what I'd done but got that sorted.

This will only get rear linkage to 75% with a 500kg bag of seed in but by the time you get half if it out it's lifting right up and that's not in cruise.

That's another thing it's hopelessly slow at getting to a cruise speed while power harrow is working. If I set the rev hold at 10k it'll take half the length of the field maybe 150m to get anywhere close to 10k but if I drive it manually in M I can get it to 11 k in 50 metres no what I did with gearbox settings it just won't labour the engine unless you run it manually

You should be able to adjust the engine 'droop' in the gearbox settings. From memory is it the bottom one? This is how much the engine revs drop before it alters the gearing. The higher the droop, the faster the acceleration

Yeah 500 is the max and it was still very slow to accelerate up to speed .

I've been tempted to try it in the drill since we got it but normally can't be bothered swapping over but I had a breakdown with normal drill tractor this afternoon so it was a good chance to try it and it's answered a lot of questions !!

Must be something amiss they're normally quick to react. I rarely run mine over 250 otherwise it accelerates too quick and dies on the mowers. I'll have a look tomorrow at the other settings

I had everything else at 100 so as fast as possible.

This thing is just fairly lethargic I was back on the 6930 spreading the last of the fert and it runs up hills at 14k where the fastrac drags it's arse up at 10 and loses revs at the PTO

Something doesn’t seem right. I’ve had mine on a 3 metre Kuhn the same as yours. Literally will run rings around a 6195r and more than compete with 6250r. Maybe not quite as quick on a run but makes up for it in manoeuvrability. Will happily sit at 10-14k in good going. I have heard that the tier 4 will out do the tier 5 though, don’t quote me on it though !!!

Mine's 4m

I dropped it off the 7930 which was happily sitting at 12k + and I went back to 8k if trying to use rev hold cruise set at 10k then discovered driving manual meant more speed but it's absolutely sh!t to drive like that

I set mine at 1950 rpm and run in cruise, transmission set around 50/60% response. Power droop at 250.
I drilled 15 acre to get the job finished and played around with it lots and only way to get on was in M . Which I could put up with but the not having lift capacity to pick it up with 1 bag never mind 2 is a definite no no .

As said before we were both very very surprised at it as it plays with the sumo trio with sumo discs out the back . Lifting the drill was the last thing I expected to be disappointed by today
