Who withI've taken a three year just recently, beginning to think maybe a two would have been more sense but 1 year not really worth doing. Still 30p a unit though

We're similar here, but have 17 months left on contract. That standing charge looks horrific.
From what folks are saying, electricity prices are twice as much as their last contract. We're up for renewal in August and I'm not looking forward to it.
Usually go through Love Energy (broker) but even their prices used to change daily.
Yes. Hearing some horrible ones, a pig farmer I know has one at 45k for the year.Wow, is that a standing charge of £2.12/ day
Big usage ?EON ,yesterday was 30p standing charge and 32p ish kwh I think for 2 Yr deal,I did another business at end of Feb for 24p kwh,how much more can it go.It was 2.5p cheaper for 2 yr rather than 1yr
Not particularly,in fact yesterday's was for four different meters and the cheapest of the 4 was the lowest usage (but higher sc) as lower risk to EON apparentlyBig usage ?
Are you existing customer , ? sorry for the questions , I'm priming myselfNot particularly,in fact yesterday's was for four different meters and the cheapest of the 4 was the lowest usage (but higher sc) as lower risk to EON apparently

For one year through a buying group.
Should we be ringing round?
Would need to total it up, think there are 9 different meters although the majority goes through 2 of them. 60000 units maybe. It's coming down imo , bet you're a high user .
Very hard to get a quote , suspect your present supplier is the best bet , unless it's BG .Would need to total it up, think there are 9 different meters although the majority goes through 2 of them. 60000 units maybe.
I think you will find all contracts have something written in the small print. We are currently in year 3 of a 4 year deal with opus energy. Have had a letter recently saying rate will increase on 1/6/22. Can they legally do this ? Has anyone stopped them doing this. New rate would still be alot less than a new contract price .!!
I was gonna get round to posting about my experience on here eventually but you‘ve spurred me on. We had the exact same letter from Opus, halfway through a 3 year contract. I rang them and gave it both barrels to some poor sod that was very apologetic but said he’d put a complaint in but not to expect owt within 2 months. We are currently in year 3 of a 4 year deal with opus energy.
