il y a 1 jour — Already, there have been 213 mass shooting incidents in 2022 -- a 50% increase from 141 shootings by May 2017 and a 150% increase from 84 by May .

I heard somewhere that this was the 28th school shooting of 2022.

Would allowing only single shot rifles that are slower to reload answer the right to bear arms law? When this right was written into the constitution they were probably using flintlock muskets.

It would be better. As Biden said, who needs an assault rifle if not for hurting people. I have three guns so I'm not anti gun. Growing up in the 1980's there was a lot to look up to about the USA. Several family members lived and worked there but by f**k I wouldn't want to live there. Just this morning we brought our son to an open day in what will be his primary school. Can't imagine some piece of sh!t going in there with a gun into all those happy little people.

"The Feds", should use any and all means at their disposal to clean up the gun problem in the US, the Second Amendment needs to be put to a referendum of the people at the very least. Personally I think it should go. There will ALWAYS be illegal guns, but the volume of legal guns in the US is frightening.

The story get's worse when I read about cops not having prevented the shooter going in, threatening parents with tasers, and leaving said piece of sh!t in with kids for 40-60 minutes. Not for a million dollars and a mansion would I raise my son there.

Tne US is a sick country with a sick culture far worse than almost any in the world. Once again it is time to address the root cause, no sticking plasters.. People want to make a statement have the ability to do so with devastating effect but they inevitably see themselves as martyrs to their cause. By all means remove their ability to do so but this nation is sick to the very roots of society. What a dreadful nation.

I have no words really. But I have always said that the real, honest and law abiding owners of weapons in the USA should be pushing for legislation that makes a license mandatory and makes it far harder for criminals and people who are unfit to own a firearm to obtain one. I don't buy the 'too many guns in circulation' thing. License those that want them, outlaw anything less and start seizing and crushing them.

I see Trump is saying rather than funding the Ukraine that money should go to defending schools. Previously he’d suggested arming teachers. How would you defend a school against a nutter with an automatic weapon especially when you consider that the police wouldn’t go in because the gunman was better armed than they were. The sad thing is that a lot of Americans will agree with what he’s saying which is a bit worrying.

Vlad is Trump's mate, so at least that one comes as no shock to anyone.

No shock either that he won't suggest any major changes to gun laws, as he's partial to a bit of hick support.

Yes i know. His response to the invasion of the Ukraine was’For a few sanctions he’s got a country’. He is an evil man no doubt about it.

Perhaps as the "right to bear arms" is all about having a citizenry with their own weapons available for militia service to defend the country. That act could be amended and implemented so these gun toting folk could be shipped out to help the Ukrainians. ;)

Are you mental ? Those Russians might shoot back. Automatic rifles are for shooting deer and children it seems.
