If their American business is so great I wish they’d do us all a favour and fuk off back thereI've been told UK is their least profitable asset, bordering on loss making. Big American company could just up and leave. Don't owe UK any loyalty. Why do they stay? Out of the goodness of their hearts?
Turn it back a bit more to make it even better, with Fisons, ICI and Shell. If only we could turn the clock back to when it was ICI, UKF and Norsk Hydro, I'm sure the time of my life was in the 80s, even if we didn't have then what we have now
Quite agree , but Boris is a compulsive liar, cheater and serial adulterer , but , he's the best of the bunch of any potential leaders , which is rather worryingboris, for all his many sins, is about the only one, who could do that, look at how he turned the UK from shite, to the worlds most successful covid nation. He has a multitude of faults, but does manage to get some things done, or inspire the right people, to make it happen. Can't really see that ability with other politicians, quite the same.
Or even further when we had slag.......Turn it back a bit more to make it even better, with Fisons, ICI and Shell.

I shouldn't be old enough to remember the stuff.
Funnily enough, we changed from ICI and Fisons 0-24-24 to Lawes in 1978 because they were the only one doing tonne bags. And there was Lawes.
Flippin eck, ton bags in 1978!?Funnily enough, we changed from ICI and Fisons 0-24-24 to Lawes in 1978 because they were the only one doing tonne bags.
Quicke 2560 and Lely 1000 - still got the loader, but changed out the spreader for a Centreliner in 1982.Flippin eck, ton bags in 1978!?
What loader and spinner did you have?
When I first started driving, in 1986, one of my jobs was delivering bags to chemical plants out of ICI visqueen, and silage sheets of course. I could get loaded up and have 4 or 5 drops around any area of the country. There were loads around the portsIf only we could turn the clock back to when it was ICI, UKF and Norsk Hydro, I'm sure the time of my life was in the 80s, even if we didn't have then what we have now
Have you still got the Centreliner?Quicke 2560 and Lely 1000 - still got the loader, but changed out the spreader for a Centreliner in 1982.
