Funnily enough, we changed from ICI and Fisons 0-24-24 to Lawes in 1978 because they were the only one doing tonne bags.

What loader and spinner did you have?
Quicke 2560 and Lely 1000 - still got the loader, but changed out the spreader for a Centreliner in 1982.

When I first started driving, in 1986, one of my jobs was delivering bags to chemical plants out of ICI visqueen, and silage sheets of course. I could get loaded up and have 4 or 5 drops around any area of the country.
