Got 5 beef bulls to go into herd, they haven't been mixed and all separate at the moment...

Run them in singles and swap every couple of days? Or pairs and swap every few days?

Always been of the opinion 1 bull working is better than 2 fighting, but...

I should add, 200 ish cows, about half in calf for autumn block, so about 100 to go at.

Bingo

bit of a shitter but one of those things. Solar fencer maybe a good bet? Or two wires on a difference fencer?
Exactly, annoying but not the end of the world

I'm trying my best to get everything sorted but it all takes time and money, I've paid for the farm (excluding the parlour and bulk tank which are fine) to be rewired because the electrics are genuinely scary at the moment For instance you have to turn the dirty water pump on with a dry piece of alkathene pipe otherwise you will probably get electrocuted. I got electrocuted twice the other day when dehorning calves because I forgot which out of the 3 sockets was ok to use and which of the others will shock you 🤣

Your farm should of been legally tested and approved befor the start of your fbt agreement, by you landlord and certificate should of been given to your agent. TFA would be worth speaking to, also no gates onto a silage pit would be a dilapidation I would expect my agent to off sorted.

If you rely on an electric fencer so much use a 12v one and connect the battery to a trickle charger.

Why are you having to pay for rewiring? Surely the landlord has a legal responsibility to sort it out? If it was a domestic house the wiring/boiler etc have to all pass regular safety checks.

They had the house tested but the electrician told me at the time that commercial properties don't need to be done?
Its also in my tenancy agreement that I'm responsible for the electrics?

I just feel sorry for my landlords to be honest, they've had a rough year and have done nothing but try to help me, between us we have spent thousands on the place and it's looking like we will need to pay for a new cubicle shed fairly soon as the current one is on its last legs (built in the 60's out of concrete blocks)
