I’m not doing it, they can come and find me.
From what I hear, a few that have done it have had an inspection of the premises already. My concern is that farmers who don't fill in the form will give them the excuse to come and inspect you. They can apparently come unannounced.
our sub was due in oct , i declined to pay. had a call yesterday from the local branch sec to ask why , after giving him a list i told him we want to be helped not hindered. he left it that he would come and see us next oct.I've only just found out about this through a NFU email telling us we all have to fill them in, so not much fight has gone on. We are seriously thinking of not renewing our NFU membership this year.
I've had nothing official so won't be filling anything in till I do agronomist not heard about itwhere is the official letter to the farmer then from the powers that be who dream up this ???
wanting to be helped not hindered, sums it up perfectly!our sub was due in oct , i declined to pay. had a call yesterday from the local branch sec to ask why , after giving him a list i told him we want to be helped not hindered. he left it that he would come and see us next oct.
No one been told, sent or Agronomist say nothing ????I've had nothing official so won't be filling anything in till I do agronomist not heard about it
The Group reps are on the whole, decent folk. They will give the Party line when they try and keep you signed up, and will inevitably repeat the argument that your NFU Premiums will increase as a result of non-membership. Explain nicely, that if that is the case, you will need to look elsewhere for Cover.our sub was due in oct , i declined to pay. had a call yesterday from the local branch sec to ask why , after giving him a list i told him we want to be helped not hindered. he left it that he would come and see us next oct.
This could be false economy as then the gov. (DEFRA) will see that chemical use is low so they can't start banning further products, which is inevitable anywayHow about we all agree nobody does.... the french wouldnt!
Fill the downloaded form and then email it back to the address given ; https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...t-protection-products-ppps-register-as-a-userWasted 2 hours this morning trying to print the relevant crap off and gave up
It is a very easy form to fill in & will accept estimates on quantities. From what I understand it doesn't want to know every pesticide you use, just total quantities. Then email to the address given, took me around 15 minutes (fairly simple farm though)I've had nothing official so won't be filling anything in till I do agronomist not heard about it
Our system wouldn't download the form, not through lack of trying thoFill the downloaded form and then email it back to the address given ; https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...t-protection-products-ppps-register-as-a-user
You would think pdf or word format would be better but lots of other Gov depts use excel most probably. It's a spread sheet. Which seems a bizarre way of doing it.................
Email them in Welsh and ask for a copy in the Mothertongue....You would think pdf or word format would be better but lots of other Gov depts use excel most probably.
They keep telling us Defra don't mean anything in Wales as devolved powers but YET AGAIN don't apply here???? WTF.
This is how stupid the devolved powers and National Government work ,also same with HMRC, Vat ,Valuation Office ,Defra etc etc etc.Email them in Welsh and ask for a copy in the Mothertongue....
