Right, really ought to get on with the VAT but one last thing - I have found a pdf manual on my computer for the RP202 and 220. @Farmerpickle PM me if you'd like it sent over... think the manual even says how to do twine as well - not something I've ever had the pleasure of attempting!!

Looks like Tama Edge to Edge (good net, that). You need it the other way round, thin stripes on the right (of the machine)... goes up the back, over the back bar, under then back over the springy bar and back to the rollers. Can take a pic of mine if you're stuck, it's in the yard and I'm doing the VAT so any excuse to get out welcome!
I would be very grateful if you could take a picture please if that is alright. Indeed it is Edge to edge, the local Bridgmans rep said it seems to be the one nobody has any problems with!

Just got in, out baling tomorrow morning so will take a picture but don't stress too much it really is quite simple. Have to say my RP220 profi is a fantastic baler and we bale everything- silage, hay, straw, beans, rushes and I always use Tama net so you've probably got a good setup with your 202...

Hope these help, off out baling. Dunno where you are but if you're anywhere near East Devon and want to drop in and go through the baler on a rainy day I seem to have acquired a reasonable amount of knowledge about them... well, I've had it in bits a few times...

Always thought it was meant to come off the back of the roll?

Yep, it looks like it's the wrong way round according to the picture, took me several rolls to work out why the keeper for the cone holding the end of the roll was pulling out, now know net has to run that way round... just done 120 bales no issues whatsoever... Or run it as per picture but have to cable tie the keeper thing! Makes no difference to the bales...

It's definitely wrong .

I ran a 220 yrs ago and ran it as per picture with no issues so god knows why you get bother .

The way you've got it will pull a but more tension on the net I've seen me do that in wheat straw with mine to tidy up the edges

No worries, whatever works for you... I like to think of it as a modification 😁. Stops the bit in the pic rotating out of the slot!!

Thank you so much for your help, it is greatly appreciated! The next question is have you had any experience changing the blade? Is that easy, or is it a pain?
