2 1/2 turns on mine is about a third of the way down the slot. 3 turns roughly half way. Bang out a few bales to check, bit annoying but there are no numbers on the scale, I've marked mine with a pen after a bit of trial and error now I know where to set it.

What is this r pin for?

Running that baler up and see the black coloured roller were the net goes down in to the chamber is rolling round with the rest of the rollers, obviously no wrap in it, is this normal or what?

That you feed the net into with the steel one pulled up it either springs ?

Pictures would help!!!

If it is then no I'd say your electro magnetic clutch is stuck it should only go when the box tells it to for a few seconds to start the net away

With the tractor switched off, but power to the baler box, press the manual net button. You should hear the clunk of the clutch. It's possible that there's a bit of drag and will be OK once you get the net threaded and some load on the roller.

What do you do if while netting it breaks or falls to take it in, on my old claas it was simple, pull knife back, release net roller then thread net, tighten net roller, press manual button on control but this welger seems more complicated,?

More or less the same. There's no releasing of the net roller but it is easier threaded with the tension arm pinned back.

In all honesty I've never had the net break and only the first bale of a season refuse to feed. Life is (and dry days are) too short for cheap net.
