Best Quality Replacement MF Parts.

Aye up,

I bought a nice little 35X recently but she does need a few bits to tidy her up.

As much as I would like to keep her original, there are bits too far gone. Which company supplies the best quality rear wings and foot plates? At the moment the wings have the extensions by your legs so are they available to buy? Or just the one piece longer mud guards?

I would like to fit a pair of the bonnet side guards near the fan too.

The tractor has completely worn 6.00 x16 tyres on the front. I have a pair of good 7.50 x 16 tyres on the shed. Will they fit? Or will they look wrong even if they fit?

Cheers, Pete.

You can't get proper one-piece wings with the "kink" in them, and the new safety wings need an extension bolted onto the footplates. It would be much better spending your money on getting the wings and footplates repaired even if it costs a fair bit, believe me, I've been there and got the T-shirt. I have one "Bird Engineering" original side panel I would sell.

7.50s will drag on the steering if they did fit
Personally I'd fit some genuine pattern goodyear tyres the reason being the middle bar stands higher and 40psi with good kingpins theres almost no drag.

Mudgaurds trouble there is many have supply issues I've used agriline ones to be fair they weren't too bad for a working tractor... no one replicates the original pattern unfortunately.

Footplates get onto Rob @ queensberry tractor parts he remakes them as original I'm sure.

Ring dunlop tractor spares ballymena. They specialise in vintage stuff and stuff thats not available theyv got contacts thatl make bits

I can see the tyres would drag now it’s been pointed out, so thank you, saved me wasting time.

The wings are a tin shell shape bolted to a c shaped frame. Is just the shell available? At least I would be making use of the frame part.

Yes the shell skin fenders are available

Go to British rubber for your front tyres

Or I have some good used originals about 90% if you wanted them

The new skins are pretty thin
So tighten bolts up evenly to limit them deforming...
