I learned to drive in my dads Renault 4 van . If you could master the gearstick that stuck out of the dash you could drive anything.
I think in the case of the blue tipper the long drawbar also allows the driver to reverse and almost jackknife the trailer round, so that the truck body can be tipped and simply driven forward . The trailer then is just pulled past the tipped load, saving the driver from having to uncouple the trailer.
I saw a similar outfit tipping on a big road project when in Canada.
True . The original one weren’t an H pattern. From memory first was left and back, 2 and 3rd centre front and back and fourth right and forward .
