Anyone that has been to Thainstone sat sales know that is just a half load still room for , bags of firewood, pallets of slates and blocks,, tyres, a plough, and crash barriers,

My uncle was a fireman in Canada. Whenever he was approaching a four way stop or a traffic light junction at the same time as a gravel truck he would be very cautious, regardless of it being his right of way.
There is a huge area near Toronto he called The Moraine, which was a massive source of sand and gravel. Thousands of tonnes per day would be trucked into the city by these type of trucks.
He had learned on several occasions during his work that the truck drivers would consider many junctions to always be on “gravel green”, meaning they were very reluctant to give way to anybody or anything!

True . The original one weren’t an H pattern. From memory first was left and back, 2 and 3rd centre front and back and fourth right and forward . Umbrella stick on dash
